North Lodge Park Tea Rooms: Crepes and Cakes

North Lodge Park Tea Rooms - crepes and cakes
At the Cromer end of the Park, next to the boating lake, is one of Cromer’s most exciting ventures: your community cafe.  Our licence to run the cafe has been extended to the end of October 2019.

In superb surroundings, decorated, equipped and run by the community, your cafe is serving Crepes and Cakes (there’s a clue in the name) as well as coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cold drinks and ice creams.

The coffee machine, with our on-demand grinder ensuring freshly ground beans for every cup, shines in the kitchen, the windows shine in the sun, and the boating lake shines just outside the front door. There are tables inside, outside and with the benches around the park, including the rose garden, you will find the place to relax.

ice cream from Dann's FarmThe latest addition to our range of products is Norfolk Luxury Ice Cream from Dann’s farm in North Tuddenham; we have a range of flavours in tubs.

The venture is run by the community – if you have ideas for the cafe, want to use the space to meet with friends, or just want to help – get in touch: cafe@northlodgepark.org.uk or just pop into the cafe. Open from 10am daily (closed Mondays).

We regularly get 5 star reviews on trip adviser for the quality of service, coffee and cakes.

  •   A lovely small cafe in the park run by volunteers. Home baked cakes delicious. Profits used for the upkeep and improvement of the park.

We were unaware of this small volunteer-run tea room until we saw a sign on the nearby walkway.

We had tea and a very nice bakewell slice.

As it was a little breezy, we sat inside. However there was still a draught because the back door was also open to give some cooling to the kitchen. One of the staff kindly changed the front door so that it wasn't automatically held open and we were then much more comfortable.

Inexpensive compared to other tearooms nearby.

  •   Parked up for break as we work for the Ambulance Service and straight away was offered a cold drink on a very hot day. Lovely owners and would recommend as popular amongst the locals.

A warm sunny day, sitting outside on green lawns with flower beds, topped off with good tea served in a teapot with China cups - and delicious home made cake.

This is a great little place to get a good cup of tea and then relax and watch the world go by. If you have a model boat then all the better but just as good to watch others. Not a lot of tables inside...More

Came across this place quite by chance on a day-trip. A beautiful little cafe, run by volunteers as a not-for-profit enterprise to support the maintenance and development of the park. Pretty interior and tables outside too. Lovely and enthusiastic staff. Home-made sausage rolls (yum) and...More

Tea for two in the sun. We sat outside on a Sunday afternoon - a bit breezy but warmed up by hot tea! Good service and sensible prices.
