North Lodge Park Tea Rooms: Crepes and Cakes

North Lodge Park Tea Rooms - crepes and cakes
At the Cromer end of the Park, next to the boating lake, is one of Cromer’s most exciting ventures: your community cafe.  Our licence to run the cafe has been extended to the end of October 2019.

In superb surroundings, decorated, equipped and run by the community, your cafe is serving Crepes and Cakes (there’s a clue in the name) as well as coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cold drinks and ice creams.

The coffee machine, with our on-demand grinder ensuring freshly ground beans for every cup, coffee shines in the kitchen, the windows shine in the sun, and the boating lake shines just outside the front door. There are tables inside, outside and with the benches around the park, including the rose garden, you will find the place to relax.

ice cream from Dann's FarmThe latest addition to our range of products is Norfolk Luxury Ice Cream from Dann’s farm in North Tuddenham; we have a range of flavours in tubs.

The venture is run by the community – if you have ideas for the cafe, want to use the space to meet with friends, or just want to help – get in touch: cafe@northlodgepark.org.uk or just pop into the cafe. Open from 10am daily (closed Mondays).

We regularly get 5 star reviews on trip adviser for the quality of service, coffee and cakes.

  •   This is such a lovely cafe. We had tea and cake for two. The tea comes in lovely tea pot with china cups. The cakes were amazing. One was coffee and chocolate and the other was white chocolate. Both went down a treat. Highly recommend...More

We have lived in the area for over 5 years and this was our first visit......it will not be our last. We often walk with our dogs from Overstrand to Cromer and have in the past visited other establishments. Not now! We will return to...More

Cromer is charmingly old school and North Lodge epitomises the whole place. It is hard to describe the mix and match crockery, apron-clad staff (young and old) and misshapen but delicious homemade cakes without sounding too cheesey. So I won't. You need to go there....More

Called in here late one afternoon just as they were about to close. Super friendly staff went out of their way to serve me despite that. Excellent coffee and cake. All staffed by volunteers apparently, so well worth supporting if you are in the area....More

Recommend by lady at tourist info, and it sure is a little gem, just by a little boating pond, the best cakes we’ve had in a while, and unbelievably low prices, run by volunteers, and cakes are made and donated by volunteers. 👍🏻

Tucked away, but worth searching out. Limited seating, but more this year than in previous years, so presumably is being addressed. Delicious range of cakes, including 3 gluten free ones, and even one that was also dairy free. Had the gluten and dairy free pistachio...More
