The decision was rather a surprise for us, ...

  • Carols in the Park

Parks give life to communities, they create safer neighbourhoods, they provide green spaces in towns and cities, help children learn and promote public health.

It remains our strong belief, that these are questions that should be resolved before the plans are passed, to confirm there is evidence for a public interest justification and to improve the design of the car park and toilet facilities.

  • Goodbye summer, hello autumn

Over the past month we have continued to challenge the NNDC planning process in an attempt to understand why due process isn’t being followed by the planning system and to raise our concerns regarding the design of the proposed car park – the design really isn’t fit for purpose.

Milly, age 6, is the WINNER of this summer's Tea Cup Challenge - creating a teacup, saucer and spoon from paper. The judges were particularly impressed by the use of colour in the design, the varied styles, and the curled cup handle. Well done Milly - your prize is on it's way.

Please pop into Cromer church for Coffee & Cake organised by the church in aid of the Cromer Christmas Lights Volunteers group.

Ist Sept until 31st October
Cromer Christmas Lights are one of three community projects short-listed for an award of £4000, £2000 or £1000 from Tesco’s Bag Fund. The more votes then more funding!
Help us support the lights in Cromer at Christmas: it’s easy – simply visit the Tesco store in Sheringham as many times as possible in September and October and make ANY value purchase and receive a token per transaction and vote for LIGHTS FOR A CROMER CHRISTMAS. Please tell your friends - let's support the Cromer Christmas Lights!!

7 September, from 7pm: Council Offices, North Lodge Park

Ever wondered what it would be like to be a member of the Cromer Christmas Lights Volunteers? They work hard throughout the year to make Cromer look great at Christmas. However, numbers have dwindled over the years through illness and age, and they could use some help. The tasks are varied, from making tea to directing traffic, manning stalls as well as putting up the lights and the trees. There will be something to suit you.

Let’s help the volunteers make if a brighter Christmas.
